Washington, D.C.'s Caribbean Carnival 2009

Saturday, 9:30 AM I was awaken by the annual music of Washington, DC's Caribbean Carnival Parade being setting up. I live a block away from the parade start. This year was different than most, because after a brief 2 hours sit down with the travel agent, I went to check out the festivities. Had a good time and tried ackee and saltfish for the first time.
